As I reflect on my high school years, there's one crucial lesson that stands out – the importance of prioritizing my wellbeing over everything else. It's a lesson that I wish to share with all of you, hoping it will guide you on your journey to success and happiness.

During my final year of high school, the pressure to excel academically weighed heavily on my shoulders. I pushed myself relentlessly to achieve top grades and secure a spot in a specific degree and university. But in my pursuit of success, I lost sight of what truly mattered – my own wellbeing.

As the pressure mounted, panic attacks became more frequent. Looking back, I realized that my life was out of balance. The intensity at which I was working was too much for my mind and body to handle. The constant exposure to high levels of cortisol and adrenaline, the "fight or flight" mode, took a toll on my health and happiness. It was a wake-up call to reassess my priorities.

I learned that we cannot thrive when we neglect our wellbeing in the pursuit of achievements. Our bodies and minds need nurturing, love, and care. I urge you not to fall into the trap of sacrificing your wellbeing for success. Success is not just about good grades or meeting external expectations. It's about finding a harmonious balance that allows you to flourish both academically and emotionally.

Take breaks when you need them. Engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Listen to your body and mind, and honor their needs. Remember that self-care is not selfish; it's essential for your overall growth and happiness.

As you embark on your own journey, keep in mind that true success is about finding alignment and harmony within yourself. It's about embracing your uniqueness and prioritizing your wellbeing. Achievements will come and go, but your health and happiness are what will sustain you throughout life.
